INTRODUCTION TO THE PRACTICE

Dr. Sue M. Litterer is a second generation chiropractor. The Litterer Chiropractic Center was founded in 1953 by her father, Dr. William E. Litterer, Jr., a 1953 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. William E. Litterer later earned his DACBR degree from National College of Chiropractic. As a Diplomat of the American College of Chiropractic Radiologists, Dr. William E. Litterer served as Secretary of that organization from 1979 to 1994.

Dr. William E. Litterer was a tireless lecturer, who spent years lecturing to the chiropractic profession on x-ray and related subjects. Since working 46 years in private practice, he had the opportunity to treat thousands of patients. Dr. Litterer' s personal collection of x-ray films and cases were published in many radiological text books, such as Essentials of Skeletal Radiology authored by Yochum and Rowe.

Dr. William E. Litterer served the profession in many different capacities, as an author of scientific articles, an editorial review board member for the American Chiropractic Association Journal, and as a consultant to many in the insurance and x-ray industries. He was voted "Chiropractor of the Year" in 1969 by the New Jersey Chiropractic Society, and was an adjunct faculty member of the New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Sue M. Litterer had the great privilege to practice with her father for twelve years before his passing in 1998. Dr. Sue M. Litterer, a 1983 graduate of West Chester University in West Chester, PA, earned her first Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education in 1983.

Dr. Sue M. Litterer earned her second Bachelors Degree in Human Anatomy while attending National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL. Dr. Litterer earned her Chiropractic Degree in 1986.

After 35 years in practice, Dr. Sue M. Litterer continues to enjoy helping others to acquire better health through the hands-on method of chiropractic.
